The Big Dig
On Saturday, November 4th, we hosted a “Big Dig,” to have our customers dig their own Daylilies in one of our growing beds, with over 200 different varieties…before the end of the day, thousands were dug and the bed was “dug clean.” Thank you to all who joined us, we can’t wait to see pictures of your yards, in June, when they begin blooming!

Art In The Garden

On Friday, October 12th, we hosted our second annual "Art In The Garden," as a way to say thank you to our wonderful customers and support our local foodbank, Lexington Interfaith Community Services. Between 800 and 1,000 of us enjoyed the musical entertainment of: the Lexington County Choral Society, Bill's Pickin' Parlor, the Dick Goodwin Jazz Quartet, the Lake Murray Symphony, the Main Street Harmonizer's Barbershop Quartet and Higher Ground, from Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church. Delicious gourmet cuisine was prepared and served by Catering by Dupre, and beautiful art from Ann Baker, Suzette Morganelli, Shirley Wright and John Harbin was enjoyed by all.
